Poverty

Alternative North has been a leading activist in efforts to reduce poverty in the Northwest Territories.  Following the organization of a coalition of 30 social justice groups calling for territorial government action, Alternatives North has participated in the development an implementation of an Anti Poverty Strategy, and has lead recent efforts to introduce a living wage in Yellowknife.
