The Canadian Arctic Resources Committee (CARC) has launched its farewell book, “Lines in the Snow”. The book is a look back at some of the issues CARC tackled over its 50-year history, but also a look forward to the future of some of those issues. The book covers a variety of issues including caribou conservation, Indigenous rights, mining policy, and sovereignty, and marine conservation. It features several NWT authors, other northerners and southern academics.
